After last year’s “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” reunion featuring a rampaging Joseline Hernandez, it’s hard to imagine she’d be able to top that. And she didn’t. For her sake, she kept her barbs verbal and not physical.

Here are some highlights from the first hour:

Joseline Hernandez

Joseline remains the combative jerk that she has been since season one, modified just a smidge. During season four, she threw drinks, hit Karlie with flowers and remained verbally abusive.

Her rationale for acting all nasty:  “I give you only what you give me. If you act like a b****, I act like a bigger b****.”

But she momentarily did acknowledge she went too far: “I made some mistakes. I should not be fighting on stage. I feel I should control my anger a little bit more.”

Then she quickly backs off any vulnerability by blaming the victims, saying she is being picked on, justifying her behavior. “What have I done?” she whined, and the crowd laughed.

Take Our Poll

Yung Joc & his ladies as Karlie turns it up to 11

Yung Joc remains with Khadiyah despite all the shenanigans from season four featuring handcuffs and baby’s mamas.

Karlie Redd, the master of inserting herself into other people’s storylines, actually dated Yung Joc at some point and claimed on the reunion show he continued to hit on her at oamma Dee’s wedding. And she got all rambunctious about it during the reunion.

Erica and Bambi

In a preview of a future episode, Erica and Bambi argued a bit after Erica claimed Bambi had her share of abortions. Six guards kept Erica from getting close to Bambi. This one went by quickly.

Rasheeda and Kirk

Married couple Kirk and Rasheeda clearly have communication issues when it comes to money. But despite questions about how he chooses to spend his money, Rasheeda didn’t take the bait.  The questioning died on the vine.

And Rasheeda didn’t appear repentant about being jealous of Kirk’s singer Ashley Nicole, who she discovered was a lesbian.

Stevie J and Nikko Smith

The pair of Mimi exes still have hard feelings and started verbally smacking, then threatening each other. But they both knew there were a dozen guards ready to keep them apart. “Stay your a** on that sofa,” Joseline said. And he did.

Jessica Dime and Joseline

During the season, there was some nonexistent beef between Jessica Dime and Joseline, two former strippers and lovers. Joseline avoided her for much of the season which annoyed Dime.

Ultimately, they hugged and made up.

“You’re sexy and you look great,” Joseline said and they hugged.

Stevie J and Joseline and Mimi

Mimi and Stevie J apparently brought in other ladies into the bedroom, just as Stevie J and Joseline do now.

Stevie J didn’t deny it: “A lot of foggy nights.”

And the show held off on some secret between Joseline and Mimi for part two next week.
